White 1,2,3-BENZOTRIAZOLE (BTA) is used to purify silver, copper and zinc on the surface of electroplating, and has anti-discoloration effect. Powder 1,2,3-BENZOTRIAZOLE (BTA) and copper atoms form covalent bonds and coordination bonds, which alternate with each other to form chain-like polymers. A multi-layer protective film is formed on the surface of copper to prevent oxidation-reduction reaction, hydrogen and corrosion. Powder 1,2,3-BENZOTRIAZOLE (BTA) also has the same effect on lead, cast iron, nickel, zinc and other metal materials. BTA can cooperate with a variety of corrosion inhibitors to improve the corrosion inhibition effect. It can also be used in conjunction with a variety of scale inhibitors and bactericides and algaecides, especially for closed circulating cooling water system. In automotive antifreeze glycol and water, adding BTA in coatings can volatilize the role of protective materials. BTA is a good ultraviolet absorbent, which can play a stable role in ultraviolet sensitive products, such as preventing the fading of diazo dyes, and treating paper, knitted fabrics, film, metal coins and other sheet products with BTA can prevent discoloration. In the process of mechanical processing, adding BTA to the abrasive oil and cutting oil can make the copper parts processed unchanged. It can also be used as an analytical reagent in combination with ammonia water and diaminotetraacetic acid, and can be used for the selective determination of silver, copper and zinc. It can also be used as photographic antifogging agent and organic synthetic intermediate.
